The stretch of the river Segre that runs through Bellver de Cerdanya coexists with one of the last central European riverside woodlands in Catalonia. To ensure the proper conservation of this unique forest and the characteristic countryside of the Cerdanya, it has been acquired this natural space in the Alt Segre, an area of alders and willows, small ponds with clear waters, and reedbeds.
