- Year bought: 2006
- Area: 1.05 ha
- Location: Vilanova de la Muga (Peralada), Alt Empordà. Area that is part of the Els Aiguamolls de l'Empordà National Park
- Initial description: It is one of the typical stretches of enclosed pastureland in the area, made up of meadows surrounded by rows of trees. Its floodable pasture meadows, which are rich in flowers and are the habitat of aquatic birds and fauna, and the rows of trees featuring species typical of riverside woodland such as alders, willows, elms and poplars, give it special value. It is an ideal habitat for rare species such as rollers and the more abundant white stork, together with many migratory and hibernator birds including waders, black storks, and predators such as the rare greater spotted eagle; indeed this is one of the few places in the entire Iberian Peninsula where the latter can be seen on a regular basis.
