TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION |

1. AIM. To promote the natural, cultural and historical values of Les Planes de Son and its surroundings.
2. PARTICIPANTS AND CATEGORIES. For all those who come to the Les Planes de Son centre. No prior registration is necessary.
There are three categories:
a) Children: up to 10 years
b) Young people: 11-17 years
c) Adults: 18 years and over.
3. SUBJECT..Any aspect or reason relating to Les Planes de Son and the nearby surrounding area. Photographs of nests, chicks in the nest, animals in cages or animals in fenced in enclosures shall not be accepted.
4. ENTRIES. Each participant is allowed to enter a maximum of three photographs. The photographs must be recently taken and be the original copies, and must not have previously received a prize or been published. A short message, poem or reflection must be written on the back of the photo, describing what the photo itself conveys or what inspired the person to take the photo.
5. FORMAT. The photos must be developed on photographic paper, 20 x 30 cm and mounted on a black 30 x 40 cm card background.
6. TECHNIQUE.Any technique may be used: landscape photography, photo hunting of animals, macrophotography, etc. Photographs taken in black and white that have been subject to more than one toning process, or to which colour has been added, will not be accepted.
In no circumstances may photographs that have been digitally modified, photos of compositions, or collages, etc. be entered.
7. IDENTIFICATION. On the back of each photo, the person who took the photo must write their personal details (name and surname(s), tax identification number, address, telephone number and e-mail address) plus the title of the photo, the category for which it is being entered, the place where the photo was taken and when.
8. ADDRESS. Photos must be sent to:

On the envelope you should write: Concurs fotogràfic de les Planes de Son (Les Planes de Son Photography Contest).
9. JUDGES. The panel of judges will consist of experts chosen by the Fundació Territori i Paisatge foundation.
10. ENTRY DATES. Photographs taken between October and March will be entered in the ‘Autumn-Winter’ competition, and the closing date for entries is 30 September of the year moved into. Those photos that are taken between April and September will be entered in the ‘Spring-Summer’ competition and can be presented for entry up until 31 March of the following year.
11. VERDICT. The judges’ decision will be public and the participants shall be duly informed. The decision will be made public immediately and shall not be contested.
12. PRIZES.There will be a prize for each category, which is a free weekend at the Les Planes de Son centre for the winner and their family (1 room with 4 beds).
13. CONFERRAL OF PRIZES.The winner(s) shall be duly informed as to when the prizes are to be awarded.
14. EXHIBITION.The photos entered by the participants shall be displayed in the Les Planes de Son centre.
NOTES:
- The photos shall remain in the power of the Les Planes de Son centre, which will able to publish them there, citing the name and surname of the photographer.
- Upon participation in the competition the entrant acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Complaints may only be lodged at the ceremony in which the verdict is publicly announced by the judges.
